John began his professional music career in 1981. Since that time he has been in numerous bands and has opened for The band "Kool and the Gang." Some of the more memorable bands John has performed in include Streetwise, The Know,The Loose Booty Orchestra, Eric and the Furys, and finally Ain't Too Proud To Beg.

While not trying to conform to one genre' of music, John weaves in and out of various forms of funk, rock, blues, and Reggae. John's musical influences include Jeff Beck, Jimi Hendrix, Buddy Guy, Joe Perry, Robert Cray,and Bootsy Collins.

Future plans include releasing the long awaited Ain't Too Proud To Beg debut CD and making the Forbes 500 list. In John's spare time, he enjoys going to the beach, drinking Captain and Coke, and taking naps in the middle of The day.
